DCD>Network Transformation Panel | What level of intelligence and automation do networks require

Operators’ networks are now incredibly complex as they need to coordinate the communications of billions of IoT devices across private networks, shift workloads across the planet, and manage petabytes of data in real time. A networking strategy involving disaggregation deployment, overlay network virtualization, automation, and visibility can remedy the complexities with better utilization and performance and ultimately enable network slicing and self-healing abilities. Cloudification of the network is here, but how far do we need to go, and what is the impact on the hardware?

This session will explain how to take steps towards network orchestration and a self-driving data center network.

Speakers: Russ White , Juniper Networks, Sanjeevan Srikrishnan , Equinix, Brad Casemore , IDC Sagi Brody
