Webair to invest $20 million, add 26 jobs at cloud data center

Webair, a high-touch, agile Cloud and fully managed infrastructure service provider, today announces plans to create new jobs and invest $20 million in cloud and critical infrastructure upgrades at its NY1 data center on Long Island over the next four years. The investments are driven by the Company’s recent acceptance into the New York Empire State Development (ESD) program and an allocation of 1 MW of low-cost hydropower from New York Power Authority’s (NYPA’s) ReCharge NY program, as well growing customer demand for low latency compliance cloud and managed hybrid infrastructure.
